Just had 2 liveries hand in their notice at my yard and between them it means 5 horses are going!!!!! Ooops! Yard will be very quiet as will be down to 5 horses plus mine. On the brightside it will be very relaxed and peaceful. Just need to fill spaces to cover my livery not quite the start I had in mind for 2012!!

Oh dear, did they say why they're leaving?

One lady is going as she isn't coping with the mud which is the only major drawback of our fields -but we do have grass all year round which to me is so important as I try and keep my guys out as much as poss. The other lady is leaving due to personnal reasons and I think is actually giving up horses all together. Just so hard finding people that are chilled out and dont stress and fall out with each other.

you never know, the mud lady might want to come back again - have seen a few examples on here where people have changed yard for a particular reason then found that the new yard was not as good in lots of ways. I think if your liveries have winter turnout and a chilled atmosphere they are jolly lucky and will probably struggle to find that elsewhere! Good luck!

Well, might make room for some great people. I suppose some turnover is expected. She might find it very hard to find turnout without mud. This year, everyone's fields are trashed.
