Dreadful! There have been a couple of similar cases in N. Ireland and in Ireland charities have been stretched past their limits for months.

Mandal Please if you can spread the story and help Crosskennan get some funds/help for this.
Any one attending horse sales in in Northern UK may have met these people, they may have bought a horse or pony you know. Please do not think this is ''just an Irish problem.''

I got an email about this last night. I unfortunately have no space and know of nobody who does. It's the third bad one I know of in the area in the last 2 years, previous one to this was very close to my home!
Will keep asking around to see if any locals can help

These dealers names now published in the Antrim Guardian but no link sorry Conor Mc Aleenan, Robert and Eilish Mc Aleenan Conor is well known at Kirkby Stephen and Carlisle horse sales buying as well as selling I am upset that I can picture his face and hear his voice, and visualise some of the ponies donkeys and horses he sold at these locations! They were often the ones which caught your eye as depressed/sea-sick/cuts and scrapes/heavily pregnant but no dates. 23 fit enough to travel went to Redwings www.redwings.org.uk/news-antrimBreakfast.phpDonkey Sanctuary in NI took in 10, the rest still with Crosskennan Lane, many needing nursing through strangles and other respiratory infections. The word is they are still buying as innocent until proved guilty!
