I have a Welsh Sec C gelding that is in real dire need of a new home. He is actually up for sale in our local paper but I would consider giving him away if it was to someone who is IH orientated. This pony is lovely. He is three years three months and a bay gelding with three white socks. The only reason I am getting rid of him is because I feel I am being unfair to him. I simply do not have the time to consistently work with him and he needs constant regular but sympathetic handling as he is not always very confident and is very green. He has never worn a rug/bridle or done any lungeing or longlining so whoever has him will be literally starting from scratch. He is fab to catch and lead but needs work picking his back feet up as he is really nervous about this, but fine if he is eating feed at the time. He has been regularly seen by the farrier and this is how he has had his feet trimmed by feeding him whilst it is done. He is 13hh now and quite stocky but with the best will in the world I will never be able to ride him as I am too tall and heavy and would look ridiculous. I also do not feel he would be a novice ride as he needs a real confidence giver. If you are interested please pm me for more info. He is based about 15 miles south of Bristol. Thanks.
