Hi everyone
I'm new to posting but have always been around reading posts etc!
I am in the process of arranging a clinic with Annabelle Harling. It
will be based near Gatwick in West Sussex and this will be the format:
The clinic is intended to pack in quite a bit of material, enough to
keep you going for about 6 weeks.
Schedule:
10am Introductions & theory lecture
11am Individual lesson 1
12noon Seat training session for all attendees - all riders will ride
on lunge (sharing horses)
1pm Lunch
2pm Individual lesson 2
3pm In-hand work - principles of suppling work from the bit, liberty
work, longreining
4pm Individual lesson 3
5pm Close
Individual lessons can be focused on riding, in-hand, seatwork or
trust/groundwork.
Post clinic:
- Notes on principles & training structure emailed
- Individual riding/training notes for each rider
- Schooling menus tailored for each rider & horse, incorporating
seatwork, work in-hand and ridden work, plus "natural" work as
appropriate - aimed at having variety and fun in the riding/training you do, and getting good & enjoyable progress from the riding time you have each week.
- Optional: for the next 6 weeks, riders may send video clips for
email/phone feedback.
At present, in discussion with Annabelle, I have opted to do a 1 day session so people can get a feel for it and see if they would like to
attend a 2-day one.
I already have one person who is going to book in and there will be a possibilty of a further 2 places.
I If you didn't want to bring your horse, there will be room for spectators and participation is encouraged.
Cost at present will be approx. £130 per ridden space. However, this will decrease if a number of spectators along, which I'm hoping
won't be too difficult! So, don't take the price as set in stone as yet.
However, for the training and follow up work that will be offered, I think it's an excellent price (having seen Annabelle ride and spoken with her). This is her website link:

If anyone is interested in this, future clinics, or spectating, could you please let me know?
The clinic wil be run in May - just confirming dates at present.

Thanks!
Jo
