As per my post on the main board, WOW did my old fears ever reach up and grab me today. I took my 7 year old daughter out on her first joint hack. The sense of responsibility was enormous and as my fears are rooted in riding in company, I had a bad night thinking about it.
Couldn't have gone better frankly. I'm so pleased she hasn't picked up on my neurosis' and we had a good safe and not plodding hack without a murmur of trouble.
Tea?

So glad it went well. I can imagine riding with your child adds a whole new dimension to confidence. Well done all of you!

You are a testament to confident riding hon - it is such a responsibility having someone else to look after apart from yourself. Of course, I think darling Bambi shares a lot of that with you - she is a wee angel on hooves!
