My friends run the Flicka Foundation here in Cornwall...it's home to around 22 donkeys, around 35 horses and numerous small animals. They're a registered charity and also a riding school ( the lessons help pay for the care of the animals). They, like many other charities are really struggling, and if they can't raise some more funds by December then they may have to close. They have put on many fundraising events locally, but there just isn't the support out there at the moment. If anyone can help with donations however small, please visit their website www.flicka.org.uk . Thanks very much for reading Kate

I assume they have tried the press? Western Morning News and other local papers, also the nationals may publish something if the article is right. Have they approached the Donkey Sanctuary as they have Donkeys? I am not sure their policy on helping others I know certain organisations they can't but as this one is specifically aimed at donkeys I wonder if they could help in any way?
