www.thesmilingthoroughbred.co.ukThe course is entitled: The Science Behind Equine Welfare and Behaviour and is being hosted by The Smiling Thoroughbred and is supported by the Equine Veterinary Journal. The course is fun and educational and will run again over two days (Saturday and Sunday) in February 2007. The course is £100pp for non-IH members and £80pp for IH members. The course location is Wokingham Town Hall (Berks). The dates currently available are the 10th-11th of Feb 2007. The course has been specially designed to complement the practical IH courses and uses a science foundation to explain how to help prevent and solve behavioural and welfare issues. We will be focusing on amongst other things colic, laminitis, stereotypical behaviour and the principles and practice of equine behaviour.
