...you may be interested to know that there will be an equine fair at The Big Sheep on Sun 19th November. Demos from Dan Wilson and Grant Bazin, also the Positive Horsemanship team, and demos from the two chosen charities, ILPH and SWEP, and a sheep show too. Plus trade stands....
It costs £3 per ticket. I hope lots of people go, it would be a shame for them to put this on and no-one bother to turn up, as we NEVER usually get stuff like this in North Devon, it's all usually too far away.

its about 15 mins from my yard......... its on the coast road from Bude to Bideford ( called the Atlantic Highway)
I think its the A30...

Went a few years ago - it was not that great but that was at Milky Way and they had the demo's on a really slippy surface and the one demo I wanted to watch the chap decided it was too dangerous so did it using his assistant as the horse - very entertaining but not exactly what I had expected - may go if not doing anything else

take the M5 to the Barnstaple; turn off the Barnstaple; when you reach roundabout coming into town; take road to Bideford; The A39 stay on that road until you get to Bideford; cross the large bridge; straight on over roundabout and its just on the right hand side; about 1/2 mile
