PETER LAIDELY BAREFOOT WIZARD FROM OZ Peter Laidely the respected Australian hoof trimmer is coming to Rowanoak to hold an Introduction to Barefoot basics on the 28th and 29th October from 9am til 6pm the cost is £75.00 per person per day. This weekend is designed as an introduction to barefoot trimming; we feel that all participants will gain a greater understanding of the horse’s feet. Peter will hopefully de-mystify and dispel some of the common assumptions associated with the horse’s foot and its care and explain some of the aspects that go hand in hand such as nutrition, management and routine maintenance. Why not come along and ask him as many questions as you like…he loves it!! Peter is able to put information across in a straight forward and simple manner. Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment a £30.00 deposit is required on booking. A booking form is attached, please complete and return, if any of your friends or colleagues are interested could you please forward this on. www.hoofworksaustralia.com Nick Sanders Rowanoak Learning Centre and Livery, Crug Farm, Brecon, Powys, LD3 9LN Tel: 01874-625973 Visit www.rowanoaklivery.co.uk

I did the two day course last year. It was brilliant, make sure you go. He is so knowledgable and helpful. I wish he was nearer, I'd go again.

OH and I both went on Peter's course near Reading last weekend. Thoroughly enjoyable, learnt loads, Peter's a great chap, really does know his stuff - and boy can he talk! Thoroughly recommend this course. I will definitely be doing more of his clinics in the future (but unfortunately not the Rowanoak one).
The other great thing was the people on the course. I think there were 10 or 12 of us, so it wasn't overcrowded and everyone got a chance to ask whatever questions they needed. A great bunch of like minded people, many of whom I hope to meet up with again.

Another big "yes" vote for Peter. I've seen him twice in France and was lucky enough to finally attend a clinic last month. He explains things really well and simply for beginners like me. The scariest time is the first time you take a knife to a horse's foot .... it gets much easier afterwards :-)

Did anyone go to this course in Brecon? Any feedback? Would be interested to hear how it went.
Cheers
