while the royal wedding was on, I went out for a hack on Zack ;D We went with one other rider and had a really nice ride round the village. I did everything I could to set us up for success - an extra scoop of the calmer I've now got him on, out last night (that always takes the edge off him!) and Pax and extra Bach flower remedy for me. The only thing I'd not taken into account was flags and bunting!! these caused 2 or 3 joggy/giraffe moments - but apart from that he was a star We even took the same route that turned into such a nightmare last time I attempted to ride him out (6 months ago now). I'm chuffed to bits and am now hoping that we'll have a summer of lovely rides.

I don't think I have heard about Zack before but it sounds like you are making progress after a difficult start so good for you I love rescue remedy too its amazing how it can change your mind set from "Oh no I'm going to die! to "I'll be fine" alcohol could have a similar effect LOL!! We were just discussing riding to the pub the other day it is well over due

Fantastic .... certainly seems a huge step to have taken, and also both taking the bunting in your stride ... well done to the pair of you for being brave
