By kinder I mean more humane? I'm picking up a comment on another thread by B&N over on general, that "organic or raise your own is kinder", apologies for mis-quoting... And the actual thread is on another topic altogether... But it begs the question and has been niggling with me for a while. I eat chicken and eggs, always free range, not always organic. Would the organic chickens have had a better life/end? My OH did a short butchery course and was interested that the butcher was careful where he sourced his meat from but was not evangelical about organic meat. So, I have v limited knowledge and experience of this. What do you guys think? I tend to go for free range or small breeder British meet whenever possible but I'm not sure what kind of guarantees (if any, that gives). Actually, I'm interested in both perceptions and facts. Please do post what you think but many of you will be well qualified to supply facts and that's what I'd really like to get a handle on please.
