as some of you may remember i posted a thread a couple months ago about my confidence with my section d and that i didnt know what i could do to improve it.
since then things have gone perfectly!!!
i have been talking to a lady on facebook who has gave me so much advise and has been so helpful so i have been doing as she says and i have spent so much time just talking and brushing my girl.
today i went to see this lady at her stud yard and i cant believe how much i have changed and that i do actually have confidence but all my issues with my girl are just in my head.
when i turned up at the lady's yard she took me to meet her 3 year old colt first and i walked in his stable and stood with him for ages scratching him and i really enjoyed it.
i then went into a field with 3 youngsters who loved attention and was being shown how to kindly show them i have my space and it worked.
the lady even said to me that i was a lot more confident than she first thought and that when i next go down shes going to set me up in the round pen with a little mare she has which can be nervous and see how well i bond with her.
so after i left her yard i was all ready to see what i could get myself doing with my girl and got up there and she had so much energy i think she could have exploded because my little mare is out of her field because of the laminitis risk and there is now a big boy she can see through the hedges that she seems to like so hopefully tomorrow i can have a little go and see how far we get.
if anyone has any tips on something i can do with her that is different from just brushing her cos i always find after shes had a good brush im stuck for things to do
