on friday i spent the whole day with my horses (minty and rosie) and trying to gain my confidence with rosie.
i started by just brushing them and making a fuss of them both then concentrated on rosie, really brushing her and making such a fuss of her then after 2 hours i thought i would let them do what they wanted while i sunbathed outside their field.
while i was rosie kept coming up and lifting my foot with her mouth and dropping it, then she picked up one of her brushes and dropped it on me.
i was so happy because finally i felt like i was enjoying my time with them properly and not like i was forcing myself to act confident and rosie was completely calm.
i then thought i would walk around the field (big step for me with rosie in there) and where rosie would normally chase me around and make me want to dive through the fence she stood and ate the grass admittedly she was still watching me and i still stuck to the fence to start with but she wasnt interested in chasing me.
can you please tell me if you think i have finally had some kind of proper connection with rosie?
