Well worth seeing, but not always easy to get what she's on about. Then see some other natural horse trainers as well

I agree - it's pretty much based on Bill Dorrance's book (co-written by Leslie) True Horsemanship Through Feel, but it helps if you have read the book. The clinics and demos I have seen have been a bit light on planning and presentation but there is some really good stuff in there if you have the basic. Maybe not one for people starting out on NH?? Does anyone else agree?

Hi Anyone can find more info about Leslie and her work at www.lesliedesmond.comalso you might be interested in a link to her work in the States at www.equineaffaire.com/massachusetts/features/clinicians.htmlI have worked with Leslie at two clinics and can say her work has been for me, life changing . Also my horse is VERY grateful that I have FINALLY stopped pulling, pushing, kicking and shoving and that I now know the value of FEEL!!

I'm just reading "True Horsemanship Through Feel" and aim to attend the clinic at Moorhouses. I suspect that Jill is right about reading the book first being helpful.
