;D ;D Was beginning to think that the white stuff would NEVER go But the school miraculously defrosted 2 nights ago so I was able to ride yesterday for the first time in about a month (time gap not just snow related). And the even better news is that the time off has made Sparks forget that he doesn't normally like to stand still for me to get on and usually I have to reposition him a couple of times. Yesterday he stood rock still next to the block while I mounted ;D I can't wait for soring now so I can start doing a bit more with the ponies - only a few months..............

We hacked out yesterday too, just a 30 minute ride and i've just got back from an hour ride, didn't go too far and tried to keep off the road as it was very foggy so we were out in all the hi viz i own. Mine are rug free at the moment too as its quite mild. I hope we can ride everyday now till i go back to work. ;D

Yay!!! This snow and frost has been no fun at all!!! Donovan has HATED it, he's been soooooo bored - he even had to be seperated from his field mate as he was play fighting too much! Free schooling him in the indoor school was funny, his tail was up so high, prancing about, think he thought he was an Arab! Funny funny pony........... he CAN do extended trot afterall!!!! We had a very small trot in the fields on Monday and he was squealing and everything! Oh I do love that norty oversized pony!!! ;D Well done Sparks for standing still!!!!
