Very funny when they had the farrier our as they said that if the horses didn't have shoes on their hooves would wear away to nothing

Lol! yea mine amazingly still have hooves, quite shocking considering the riding to and from fun rides i do with apollo all on roads lol

Which episode is the one with the dartmoor in? I thought I'd watched them all but haven't seen that one. Love it though, and tales from the green valley and victorian farm ;D

Really enjoyed the programme. It was good to see the Dartmoor pony being handled like that - quietly and sympathetically. Slight, momentary wince at Mike Branch's "feel superior" comment, but on the whole I was quite impressed. I'd be interested to hear other people's thoughts.

yeh that was the only bit that made me wince too, but i was very much pleased to see the handling that 'Lad' was given, a positive thing for TV and portraying to horsey and non horsey people!
