Your professionals who attend your horses ? I have just sorted out a little something for my vet who made a very difficult year ( losing Luke and Fella ) a little easier for us. My EP is due tomorrow so i have got him a bottle of something to thank him for looking after Sunny for me this year but i wondered if most people do try to give a little something ..... especially when times are so tough at the moment

I will get a bottle of something for my farrier this year.. He is coming out on Christmas eve just to shoe my pony in the hope I can get out riding over Christmas (Not likely with all the snow)
And he is the person I see most out of all my horses helpers..
I have however brought for all the girls at the yard, and I will of course get the polos and apples ready for the horses stockins.. Oh dear how sad am I!

I give my Farrier my Vet and my trusty Hay and Straw man a bottle of something fizzy each. I believe of all the people involved in keeping my horses well ( with the exception of my groom of course ) they deserve it.

Usually give a bottle to my trimmer and a little something to my YO. It just shows that you appreciate them.

My farrier gets money, he doesn't drink, and my vet gets a bottle of scotch, because he does!

My farrier got nothing he's not due back out til Jan, was that mean of me? My vet should be coming tomorrow, don't know if she will get anything though it would be nice to say thanks for visiting me every other week! lol
Otherwise I plan to get some of the girls on my yard who help me out a little something. Especially my stable neighbour as she has been turning out, bringing in and even mucking out for me when I've been unable to get up to the yard.

we always get a posh girlie present for our EP, she is a treasure who has done our horses for 4 years now, and of course she is here every 5-6 weeks. I think she appreciates a treat she wouldn't get for herself, that is feminine. don't see anyone else often enough to feel I should give them a present. we are DIY and did get a little gift for another livery at Olympia yesterday as she picks us up in her 4 x 4 when we are snowed in.
