Hi all Just wormed Molly (Equest Max) and found this in her doings. It looks like a bot fly larvae to me but I've not seen one at this early a stage so not 100pc sure. What do you reckon? Regards Attachments:

You worm for bots at Christmas as that's when the larvae are in the stomach, looks like yours are on the muck heap now!

Yup. We do an intelligent worming program here with the local vets. We did fecal egg counts during the summer, (all low/zero), we poo pick regularly(ish). Wormed for encysted reds with Pannacur 5 day last week, Equest Max for tapes/bots this week.
Worm again in the spring then egg counts during the summer again etc.
I'm going to use Equest Pramox next year but their worming history was "uncertain" previously, so didn't want to take the very slight risk of using Moxidectin.
Regards all.
