The problem is catching her, but if someone from here is local and can help get team in using IH methods to catch her ? This is why foals should be handled from birth. But there are still those who breed and let the horses get on with it, sadly.. They still manage to make good pets once handled as they have no bad history with human usually...

Well, I would have to wonder how they plan to PTS if they can't catch her

Rifle? I can't see any mention of PTS though.

No I can't see PTS either ??
They would just have her shot, Jill, as with livestock - sad but true.

They must have amended it - I'm sure it said must go within 24 hours or will PTS. Maybe someone asked how they would plan to do that.

Yes it did originally say pts within 24 hours. Just wish someone would take the time to handle it

In reference to the 16.2 retired horse why do some people think it's someone else's responsibility to take on their unwanted horse "who will give him the unconditional love and attention that he deserves", if he deserves it then give it to him yourself! Sorry but those sort of ads really annoy me!

Sorry but those sort of ads really annoy me! Yes, I agree. Poor horse. No longer useful to his owner so now it needs to be someone else's problem. Fair enough is someone's circumstances change but not otherwise.

It is sad :-( discard them when they can no longer perform. Just hope they find a home where someone doesnt care they arent at the top of their game anymore, and love them what ever :-)
