Can anyone recommend a horse dentist that covers the hampshire area, in particular Winchester/Wickham sort of area? I had the vet out in August who did my boys teeth but I wasn't happy with how he did it having previously had an equine dentist who was much more thorough. I did use Martin Walls before but he doesn't seem to be returning calls. Any suggestions greatly received

I use Martin Walls and wouldn't let any vet near my horse's teeth! I usually contact him on Facebook which he responds to pretty quickly.

Greg Wood is from the Winchester area I think... I've been using him for years as he used to work for my vets. He is very good with my two, who aren't the easiest to say the least!

Both Martin and Greg Wood are lovely chaps, really know their stuff inside out. I tend to prefer Greg's slightly more positive approach to the horses. I have only used Greg but watched Martin with several of my friends horses over the years.
Greg is doing a lovey calm job getting my youngster used to the gag when he comes to see the older horses so when she is old enough for him to need to do some work on it isn't one big step for her.

Martin Walls good and lovely with my horse, but impossible to get hold of - though would have him back.
Had Greg twice, and is not coming back, the only horse professional to ever call Cinny bad mannered...
Every other horse professional always praises her on her behaviour

I love Martin's way and he has done a fantastic job, no pressure at all with my rather young, hot-blooded horse. He is so wonderfully laid back with the horses.
