....it's 26C here, with 94% humidity. I keep driving around in my car because it has air conditioning.

LOL We had about 1/2 inch snow last night, it rained all yesterday morning, and today there is a lot of ice. Horses are fine and happy, thinking I will be taking containers of warm water for drinking again soon !

Just been out for last hay and check. Mmmm, drift outside the back door, we now have six inches but it's much warmer.
Stay safe everyone.
Mta.. That's hot Claire and that humidity must be hard to bear, not surprized you spent time in your car! lol

Checked Met office last night and it said no snow for my area for the next week! How wrong could they be. Its been snowing since 7am with no sign of stopping. They've updated their website now - someone in the midlands must have phoned them and said its snowing! I really am losing faith in weather forecasts.

We have snow down here in cornwall - third winter on the trot! What on earth is happening! I thought global warming meant milder, wetter winters!
Horses all happy enjoying it though!
Keep safe everyone! Our horses are kept at home, which is lucky because we can't get out of the valley. Thinking of all of you that have to travel to horses/work.

We've got 8 inches now and still snowing! We rarely have snow in Oxford, and living in a village bound in by hills makes us fairly much village bound. That means taking advantage of other people's good will in doing the pony (8 miles away) - thank goodness he happily lives out and all they need do is chuck some hay at him a couple of times a day. The snow (and subsequent freezing forecast) may well have scuppered my plans of going away for Christmas though. It is pretty though...and the dogs LOVE it!

We had an inch yesterday and thought we had got away with it. It started snowing at 8.30 this morning and hasn't stopped yet. We now have several inches and getting out and about is going to be very difficult!

We had about 1-2 inches here the night after last, roads are slippy, but I don't have to go to any yards so I am okay, but I feel for the people who have to drive in the trecherous conditions.

Snowed a bit here yesterday then was bright and sunny for a while. Couldn't ride as had to go to work. Snowed more overnight, but worse was that at 8am there was a blizzard blowing in Birmingham according to phone calls from my mother and brother within minutes of each other. We were meant to have been going there today for a pre Christmas lunch out at a carvery. Plans canceled. Not happy as not sure If I'll have time to go again this week. So I made mince pies and then went out for a ride on Rosie. Cold but fun.
