If you look on the label i guarantee that the morrisons own brand will have sodium lauryl sulphate in it daisy...... = / No, it doesn`t hunny ..... However the conditioner does contain Parabens (methlyparaben/propylparaben) .. but it`s the lesser of the 2 evils after the SLS research i did, see here: (thanks for finding this link Stace ) ihdg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=non&action=display&thread=107031&page=2.. I stopped using SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate and Sodium Laureth Sulphate) Shampoo`s as my hair was rediculously dry and brittle and kept snapping off at the ends, but my scalp was itchy and greasy a lot of the times. My main reasons for being "no poo" wasn`t to cut out all chemicals immediately, but more to help the state my hair was in. But in turn I use the bicarb and vinegar for a good "wash" and use the conditioner a handful of times a month ... so in effect have cut out massive amounts off SLS, chemicals and Silicones compared to washing every couple of days like i used to Just be aware that some of the "no poo" alternatives do contain "Ammonium Laureth Sulphate" .. This is ok as it is mainly coconut derived. Between the two "Lauryl" and "Laureth", Laureth is the kinder, low irritation version, and Lauryl is the stronger, harsher sufectant, more likely to give you problems (this is in any form of SLS or ALS)

Lots and lots of Latin. Curiously, I'm attracted to the ones that say "alcohol"……

Have you looked at the Cowboy Magic conditioner? I have always liked these products which cross over from equine to human. I have googled it and the conditioner does seem to have some parabens, but they are the last of the ingredients and it is supposed to get rid of mineral buildup in the hair. Just wondered if this would be worth a try.

Looking good bertie James ...lol ..... no really .... i proper lol`d Donna, the Bicarb made into a paste is used to clean the hair, and the scalp .. Its kinda bitty/gritty so helps exfoliate the scalp (i suppose to help stop dandruff? maybe .. dunno, i don`t get dandruff) Sundance ... No i haven`t looked at the Cowboy stuff ... off to google now !!
