I'm looking for a companion for my horse on Ashdown Forest. He's at a small private yard where the other owners all want their horses out individually and bring them in at night and this isn't suiting my boy.
It would be grass livery, with use of a field shelter for winter. Would suit a good doer as I use a track in spring/summer and am happy to soak hay etc. My horse is very gentle, usually low ranking in any herd and is barefoot.
I'm looking to share costs, the share is negotiable. Alternatively this may suit someone looking for grass livery who can't commit to going up daily, as I would be happy to help out, again the extent of help is negotiable.

I know of a gorgeous 2yo gelding for sale, stunning coloured, I owned his mother, NF x warmblood to make 15hh. I think hes only 300. Can I tempt you? I'd love to keep in touch with his owners! Id buy him back if I could!

I could lend you a companion pony? Short-term/for the winter, or longer if you wanted? I would be happy to contribute to some of her hay/feed costs (not that she eats much, she lives off fresh air!!)

Nooooooo! Rosie, honestly don't encourage me!! He sounds lovely but I really am trying to avoid the full financial burden of a second horse, but if you'd like to buy him and share costs I'll look after him for you ;D
Hi Orangetails, that sounds like it could be an option, would you be ok with her coming down to Sussex?

Hi Rosie
I'm also looking for a companion - I've pm'd you (knowing my luck the youngster you mention will be no where near where I am!)
