HI Everyone
Francois lemaire de Ruffieu will be returning to the UK this September and will continue his work with 12 horses and riders following on from 5 days earlier this year.
This is a new format for our UK clinics, allowing horse and rider partnerships to progress from basic in-hand and groundwork through to ridden work from foundations towards the higher levels. Francois is steeped in the classical tradition, having started his long career in the world famous Cadre Noir at Saumur in France before moving to the USA where he is in great demand as a clinician and trainer. He already has two training books in print, and is currently working on a third, which will explain all the exercises that take a horse from foundations through to high level training. Francois is one of those rare individuals who rides beautifully, and teaches equally well.
The ridden course is fully booked, but we have a limited number of spectator places available for the September clinic, as we will be using New Barn Livery's brand new Indoor school for the first time.
The three days start on Monday 13th September and each day will feature work on the ground, in hand, lungeing and longlining as well as ridden work. We have a range of horses for Francois to work with, from a 4 year old backed this year, through to a horse working towards the higher levels, and everything in between.
The days start at 10.00 am and will finish approx 4.30 pm, although this may be later, depending upon Francois!
Last year we had great feedback from participants who were very satisfied with the clinic that François provided. He was assisted by Jean-Louis Guntz, who volunteered his time in the interest of our sport. We hope Jean-Louis will return to see us another time.
Spectator places are £30 for a full day, or £15 for half a day. Light refreshments will be available to all spectators and lunch may be bought by separate arrangement.
If you would like to book a place please go to www.themodernhorse.co.uk/apps/webstore/ and choose your day(s) or half day(s).
There is now the option to pay via paypal, or details of sending a cheque are also listed.
Regards
