The dates are:
Mon 6 – Thurs 9 Nov at Hurstbourne EC, Whitchurch, Hampshire
Sat 11 – Sun 12 Nov at Kingswood EC, Wolverhampton
Tue 14 – Fri 17 Nov at Patchetts EC, Watford, Hertfordshire

Last year there were not enough riding places for all the people who would
have liked to ride so this year Amanda will have a ‘raffle’ for places to allocate
them as fairly as possible. If you want to ride please complete the ‘request for
rider place’ form on the web site and send or email that back to Amanda. All the
costs and other details are on the web.

If you enjoyed Mark Rashid last year you may also enjoy Leslie Desmond. She
is also teaching a softer and more gentle way for us to work with our horses
using feel to communicate rather than force. She is the author of the book
co-written with Bill Dorrance, True Horsemanship through Feel. Three clinics
with Leslie are running in May 2006 in Wales, Hants and Staffordshire. You will
also find details of these clinics on my web site. Spectator and riding places
are available.

There are also finalised dates for the Steve Halfpenny Natural Horsemanship
clinics in Hampshire. These are:
6 – 8 June in Norleywood Farm, Hants and 9 – 11th June at Fordingbridge,

Oh wow, Kingswood, that's only about 15 miles from me. I shall definitely go again if I'm not balloted out (if I am, I WILL be spectating, hot water bottle an all) - look out for Caspar all you scared ned fans!! Thanks Luce - I guess that's a bit out of the way for you???
If anyone from this DG wants to doss on my floor you're welcome - only have a 3 bedroom house, so accommodation is limited, but given that it's Nov, camping may not be such a great idea.

Jill, I might spectate at Kingswood this time - when will you know if you have been successful in applying to take Caspar?

Wherever anyone is spectating, can recommend not only a HWB but a sleeping bag too. At Patchett's last December at one point was too hot, but daredn't say anything as would have got lynched by others who were freezing! It really was perishing there, thank goodness for one of my friends who suggested a sleeping bag!!!

I'll spectate at Patchetts - will probably be bringing a friend as well - she read his book and thought it looked good. She likes the pragmatic approach:-)

I think they are balloting for places at the end of April, so should know soon after (they'll want the deposit money no doubt!!). I have posted my application already. Not sure what the uptake will be in this area, might have a better chance than Patchetts or Hampshire.
I'll be sure to post when I hear - never fear, either either be chuffed to bits or sooooo disappointed, but I'll spectate anyway if I don't get a place.
