I have some spaces available for this popular workshop in Cumbria (not as far as it sounds) if you live in the North on May 7th and in Leics., on May 28th For further details please email me via my homepage or profile.
On this workshop you will learn: Basic techniques in equine massage that you can take home and use on your horse. ALL horses can benefit from massage and most people can learn some procedures that will lead to improvements in their horse’s well being.
Massage promotes good health, helps you understand your horse much more, assists in quicker recovery from injuries – and also creates a bond with your horse.
In this workshop you will be taught: · Brief description of what massage is – and what it is not! · Benefits of massage and what happens during massage – specifically the venous return and the lymph system · Massage and the Law · When not to massage – contraindications · Basic massage moves – effleurage/ petrissage/ friction/ kneading · Introducing a horse to massage · The best “maintenance massage” for your horse

Actually Yes - if you really want one - I am happy to come down. PM or email me if you want to seriously discuss it (or even not-so-seriously!) If you help to organise one then you can have a free place!
Best wishes, Cameo

Cameo If you are holding one in May in Leicestershire, then I would like to do this, as I am in Leicestershire, where are you holding the clinic at?

Hi Sandy, I am still negotiating with regards to venue but it is likely to be in Barrow on Soar area. We will be very lucky as there will also be a Chiropractic demo/lecture by Anna Hindley (who comes on here). This will be open to anyone - and the rest of the day will be limited places for the Equine Massage. Booking early is best (there will also be an EarlyBird reducton in price) - I will put more details up here as they are organised.

Hi - please do watch this space - price is likely to be £44 for the whole day (£40 for Early Birds who book before May 1st!), or £8 (£5) for the chiro lecture/demo. There will be a limit on places for the whole day.
To anyone who wants to know - both myself and Anna Hindley are qualified, experienced and insured. I'm also insured for teaching.
Testimonials for previous workshops are: "Very relaxed and friendly; really enjoyed it - knowledgeable instructor" "Really enjoyed the hands-on work" Lovely quiet village, lovely horses, interesting discussion within group"

Hi Cameo I have a yard in East Sussex would you consider running a course here? I have a number of liveries who would probably be interested and I could advertise locally. We have a studio room for any theory sessions, plenty of chairs etc and other good facilities. We have run other courses here before so know the score. Thanks

Hi Kex, Yes, I would be happy to come to East Sussex! You can pm me or email me via my homepage (little house on the left of this message) if would like to discuss further. I'm always happy to take these workshops "on tour".
