I would like to nominate cloud and aero for the most outstanding act of generosity. Thanks to these two incredible DGers, a horse that would almost certainly be dead by now was liberated and moved to a sanctuary on Guernsey.
Lovely, amazing girls!

My nominations would be:
June for all of the reasons already mentioned. And with personal thanks for introducing me to my lovely Clover who did so much for my confidence, taught my OH and my best friend to ride and is an absolute angel.
Susan for flying the flag re equine obesity. Having a good doer myself I know hard it is, and Susan's dedication to Flynn and helping everyone else is outstanding.
rj for all she does for Horsewatch. And for not being afraid to say what others may be thinking when it comes down to horses security and welfare.
Iceberg because despite her desperate sadness at losing Toby she always tells people how important it is to have horses freezemarked and helps highlight a very important area
Mandal for being Mandal
Dragonmaster for starting the essentials oils course and being such a supportive DG member to so many people
Numerous other people deserve a mention and by posting the above no offence is meant to anyone I haven't mentioned.
And to the 40 DG'ers/ex DG'ers who have helped myself and our other friends achieve things we could only ever have dreamed of before it goes without saying you are all top of my list
xx

Thank for the nomination Mandal I must say "foal adviser" sounds better ( and more respectable ) than " champagne holder " Giving advise on breeding over the years has been a great pleasure and watching my "God foals" grow up to be lovely horses and nice "people" is very rewarding I hope I shall continue to be useful to first time breeders in the futue . ;D Meanwhile, I know she's already been nominated but I just want to say that the work Lorraine does all year round to relieve us of our money for the various wonderful charities supported by I H is inestimable and I don't think we can thank her enough.

Jennyb, LisaP, heather,Ashleigh... Dressage divas. This is too difficult as I want to nominate everyone!!! I second that (both parts)!! LisaP has done loads to improve the standard of riding in my area...although sometimes the horses being ridden are made out of polystyrene

That is very kind of you ladies but all i do, is 'mug' everyone, so its easy really !!
I would like to say that without the rest of the team, the ideas and events ( such as the garden party ) would grind to a halt. So massive thanks to Veronica / Eileen / Jenny Semmence / Ally S / Cameo and Laura. The lovely Ely, is a treasure as the ' welcoming drinks lady' but i don't know if she comes on here ?
PS.... Competition about to appear for the ' Garden Party photo ticket design ' Get your cameras out.

I also vote for Lorraine..because she does the tireless task of asking for Money..whoops sorry charity.. fund raising.. and to for being such a supportive DG'r.. and her own pony is making her worry so.. and still she comes up trumps..
Then we have Lizp.. having met her and read her support to so many.. and then she had that nasty accident.. many many have been helped by her..

I certainly 2nd Liz P: In fact, many of the RA's do so much to support the fundraising.

Oh yes LizP has been so supportive and open on the DG as well as Zoe and Sarah Weston especially. Mta... I did mean 'especially' out of all the RA's but I did forget to nominate Sue Brown for her wonderfully inspiring video... took a serious amount of guts to put that up in her position.

Nominations: IHK - most thought provoking threads. Catrin - grammar / fountain of knowledge (inc testing others to the max!) Lisa P - all types of riding instruction, mounted / dismounted / space hopper or polystyrene ponies and full on encouragement, including scheming. All RAs - seriously hard work. Cheshire HCM group - for all support they offer each other and encouragement for us to keep up the meetings and education.
Note about HCM hostess - without Lisa P there wouldn't be any HCMs I vote she is nominated with me as she works the room and I only organise refreshments.

I'd like to nominate Trouble's Snip as DG horse of the year for being such a good teacher to so many of us. (Ok, he's not technically a DGer, but DGer by proxy) ;D So he has some uses then!!
