How many small bales make a large rectangular bale? what price would you expect to pay for one.

Depends on the size of the large bale - and the small one lol. There are several different sizes of large bales (hestons, half hestons etc) and small bales vary enormously depending on how tighly the baler packed them. My bales are half hestons, and easily equivalent to 10 average small bales. They are haylage and wrapped, and I sell them for £25 + delivery.

I payed £35 large rectangle bale 3ft x3ft x12ft ish fairly dense hay delivered (and stacked as a favor)
Ours are ment to be 1/2 a tonne each and there are 45 ish regular bales to the tonne so 22 bales ish.
Hope that helps.

My large bales are different again, they are 5 string ones and have the equivalent of 5-6 small bales in them, £17 per bale delivered.
