Got sent home from work at mid day today because of the worsening conditions, and they're closed tomorrow so I can go and play ponies instead. Yay!!!

Its fabulous.... Everything looks clean and fresh, people are walking and talking to each other... people are helping each other with things when they don't normally bother... The horses get time off and entertainment watching all the kids playing in the snow...
We get to make snowfigures, snow angels and go sledging.... All my muddy boots have been cleaned in the snow and look like new!!!
I can't do poo picking because i can't see any there fore they aren't there.....
What joy........ tell me i won't come down from this high....

Horses are clean, Rocky's not standing in mud, gateway not muddy (will be awful when it melts tho), generally everywhere looks clean. Can feed them extra dollop of haylage for lunch as a treat cos Im here, fed last night at midnight in my jammies. Currently sitting by the log burner nice and toasty browsing in here and flicking through Your Horse and Horse and Rider. Had a snow day today cos school closed. Could be worse I spose.

Its like living in Narnia! Long walks with the dogs in the snow - golden retrievers look like lions bouncing about in the woods.
"Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight, At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more, When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death, And when he shakes his mane, we will have spring again,"
Oh to be nine instead of twenty-nine...

zac and ori's feet are looking amazing in this weather although their bars are going a bit crazy with all the contact with ice.
I don't feel guilty for not riding cos I can't!
I have had 2 paid days off work (teacher!)

I can see where my cat goes by following his tracks in the snow. I always wonder where he goes when I let him out

I can see my horses feathers again! He's not been clean for this long since I got him. Plus I love my new(ish) car (my first 4x4) even more.
