I haven't seen my boys since new years eve I share Solo with my mum and they are all at her place, so I know they are all being very well looked after, but it's still very frustrating 3 miles of ungritted hills aren't fun in this weather.

((hugs)) to all those missing their neddies, and hoping things warm up before too long. Main thing is not to take risks on icy roads. Having slid the (now ex-)car into a tree just before Christmas, I'm v v cautious out there at the mo. Stay safe, folks.

Melissa. I am missing my girl desparately as well. I managed to get up at the weekend but haven't been able to do anything with her for a few weeks. With the snow coming as we speak I doubt I will be able to get up this weekend at all nor during the week. She is on full livery so I know she is well cared for but I miss her loads. So you are definitely not the only one. x

wont get to mine tomorrow as several more inches have come down in last couple hours. YO takes good care of them tho when cant get there, and we prepared as much as we could, loads of haynets for Toffee who is in, and the others are well rugged and have big hay bales out in the fields, plus plenty of shelter. There are quite a few of them too, so hopefully they will huddle together nicely and keep warm :-)

mine are DIY, on a farm so if I dont get up, they don't get done have managed it so far, 6am this morning was ummm a death wish! went back up 2pm before it got dark and cold. They are 3-4 miles away so worse case scenario is about an hour's walk!
