Well I've caught up with the poo picking Linda, and will try to hunt them through the snow when it comes again.. Isn't it a proper winter at last (although we had a mosquito fly into the lounge the other night, shouldn't this cold kill them off ?? LOL)

The snow now seems to be melting, so i might be able to poo pick! I gave up when it was frozen solid and stuck to the ground, lovely!! Theres a couple of flys around here one of the cats is after one. Shouldnt still be around now though should they?

We need to build a DG Ark at this rate. I was very impressed with ourselves as we all rode out in the rain today.... was biting cold though...

Well we attempted to poo pik today, me and dad for over an hour and didn't even manage half the 4 acres.......... poured with rain all day and is still hammering it down now, my field is now totally waterlogged so they have just tonight as their last night out and then i have no option but to bring them in as i can't even feed them out there now it's so bad. Gutted as i hate them being in but they must eat something other than twigs and poo, i only ever have to shut the turnout when the field totally floods as it is simply hopeless out there....

I'm running round after my lot trying to get all the fresh ones before they freeze. lol Happy New Year everyone! ;D

Mandal, I now have a vision of you chasing the horses with a shovel, trying to catch it before it hits the ground in a steaming pile! ;D
