Does anybody know of any grazing in essex, with a schooling area and good riding. I am feeling increasingly frustrated that due to the bad weather my horses are cooped up 24/7, even if they go out they are out for 2hours!!! The yard owners don't like turning out on bad weather because it ruins the field, as some of you may be aware nancy has ulcers, therefore she needs turnout! bronte weaves and is stressy, therefore she needs turnout!! I stayed at the yard all day Sunday so I could leave them out for as long as possible in the round pen but unfortunately, as we all do I work for a living so I am not there to turn out myself, staying in the odd day isn't a problem but being cooped up 24/7 is!! my OH had problems with bronte spinning because she couldn't wait to get out and I had problems with Nancy rearing cos she couldn't wait for me to let her go. I was told before I moved on that it was all year tunrout. Oh to find the purrrfect yard would be ever so nice ;D

Hi Shelley,
Thanks. I am a bit spoiled where I am at the moment as it is fairly close to home, Hockley is not far from me at all, Rochford is a pain to get to (went to look at one a few weeks ago and it was a pain journey!). I need somewhere with a good sized menege that doesn't get boggy in the winter and good hacking where I don't come across any major roads. Its tough, I have never been on a yard where they keep in 24/7.
