We haven't had much snow down here in the south east but its very pretty! It is also FREEZING cold. My amazing ariats kept my toes warm, but my ears and hands were rather nippy by the time we got home. Mum also fell off - Peg did a very large shy sideways whilst we were having a canter. Ouch for Mum, shes feeling rather bruised. Mum behind me The sun peeking up View through Megs ears Snowy lane. This is on the way home and ponies really didnt want to stand, so pics are a bit blurry a view from brady road down over the valley

What lovely pics ;D Hope your moms ok. My youngest daughter fell off a couple of days ago, she was riding a lovely but cheeky cob at the livery yard, he spooked at a dog comming out of a bush on the footpath next to the fence. She still loves Corby though!

All I can say Emily is that you're very BRAVE! ;D
We have a similar snow dusting down here (still minus six with windchill) and there's NO WAY I'd be getting on a horse in those conditions ;D There's quite enough spooking going on just on a lead rope!

Thanks everyone!
We are very lucky with our hacking round here, it's lovely.
Mum is feeling a bit bruised. It was a heck of a shy from Peg - big jump sideways with a sort of twist - and Mum clung on round her neck, but then that meant she got stomped on when she finally fell. Ouch ouch.
