I believe Rosie (Banksy's mount) has a shoulder injury so Banksy's party piece had to be cancelled.

I just want to say that it's good to hear people enjoying themselves after all that's why we have horses in the first place... for our enjoyment!! ;D

I too had a great time at YHL - I've seen both Kelly and Monty many times before, but this was certainly a highlight. The little pony who didn't like lorries made me laugh, as that was exactly how my Bali behaved when an RA tried to get her to do Join Up! She wasn't going to make the effort to run away when she could simply walk up to (or preferably over) you!
Watching Copy's reaction to Joey was fantastic. Copy was obviously very unsure of this strange creature, and sort of sank by about 6 inches on slightly trembling legs. Monty just sat as still as a statue with a big grin on his face and all was well. An excellent lesson in how to give your horse confidence (if only I had that much confidence myself it would be so easy!)
I took a friend with me who has been away from horses for about 10 years, and has never been to a Kelly or Monty demo before. She had a such a huge grin on her face the whole evening, and is now planning how she's going to get back to riding!

It was really good to see so many DGers there, and I am glad you all enjoyed yourselves - I certainly did ;D
Yes Catrin, there were a lot of RAs weren't there? It was great to be able to spend some time with all of them as well as chatting to the general public who had come to visit the IH stand
More great demos, and another great weekend up at Stonleigh!

I was helping at your horse live too it was fantastic! it's the third Monty demo i have helped at and it just gets better and better. the speech Monty gave at the end of the night was very moving. Can't wait till the next lot of Demo's i'll be putting my name down to help again. Everyone was so lovely and i have honestly learned loads from just watching the pro's at work.

Owner report from Your Horse Live may I take this opportunity to thank you and Monty Roberts sincerely for all your help with max - I really didn't believe he would walk over the tarpaulin at all - Truly amazing. I have been working with him - with plastic bags and he is accepting them better. Monty said a big step to an improved life and I truly believe now.. Many thanks again and please thank Monty sincerely from me. Jacqui Goodfellow
