Hi ukshowjumper, I live in Worcestershire in a village called Clifton upon Teme, which is about 10 miles outside of Worcester city centre. In terms of vets, I use Three Counties Equine Hospital for my mare. They're actually based nr to Tewkesbury, but they have a couple of vets that live in Worcestershire & they also do half price call out charges for certain days of the week per area - so for my area it's half price on Mondays. As they're a proper equine hospital with specialist equine vets, I'm happier being with them than some of the smaller practices that perhaps have one equine vet. I'm afraid I can't recommend any dog walkers, I have a friend who lives in Malvern who uses a dog walker - but I guess it would depend where abouts in the county you're moving to - is it Worcester city itself? I don't know whether you're looking for livery, but I could probably give you some local knowledge as regards some of the yards in the area, Jenny

There is also McCartney, Barstow & Gibbs at Droitwich, and Oakley Farm who run a dog creche. It is also a good livery yard and a local riding club has events there too.

Not got a horse (yet) but will be asking for advice in the near future on that front Just need a small animal vets for now. Although local tack shops/places to look for shares might be an idea....or even somewhere for refresher lessons since I've not ridden properly (ie: not just plodding round the lanes) since Easter. I'll be living in the city to start with at least yes.
