I am thinking of using haylage this year as Billy coughs on hay, and Honey finds it easier and softer to chew (she's 31). Have a herd of 4, so will be better off buying large round bales in, have them stored outside (as will be wrapped). I think it'll be better for their breathing and all.......
Trying to source a large round bale of haylage is not as easy as you think LOL

I shall ask at our yard one of the girls has round bales of haylage - although there not as big as the round hay we used to get - they might have a contact for the large ones tho will let you know.

Horses are enar Thetford, so up the A11 (don't think tractors would be appreciated in the rusgh hour traffic LOL)

Lulu the guy who does ours delivers on a transit with trailer if needed. But he's from nmkt so fuel cost mite be 10 -15. Someone else must know someone .

They are the big round ones and i paid 35 last year, i dont have marmite now so cant say how muc they are this year will just find his no and pm you xx

Anyway, They were £25 last year, And fella's pretty sure he will deliver. Don't know if its for extra cost. I will ask fella to go talk to him asap.
