A must imo for those with horses barefoot and whose horses feet need improving generally. No nonsence up to date information on how to achieve healthier hooves in UK climate. Details on this link also available on Amazon. www.halebooks.com/display.asp?isb=9780851319605&pge=allen&ps There is a rumour that a certain Mr. Roberts has ordered a copy!

Thanks Mandal for the kind words :-) I was at Your Horse Live this last weekend, and went up and introduced myself to Monty, as we were asked to send him a copy of the book (which we did gladly!) and I was intrigued as to who had recommended it to him - he named an American farrier who I am not acquainted with, but it was great to think that he'd found it useful :-)

Just finished reading this and really liked it. Well written and not too complicated, but loads of information regarding diet and pasture arranging. Great book - good information for shod and barefoot horse owners.

its on my amazon wish list, sooo if any one fancies buying it for me, haha!only joking! will point my bf in the direction of my wish list. Will hopefully order it next week when student grant comes in as of course its very informative for an animal based degree, so i think it counts towards what i should spend it on!

Yes, great book to have and keep going back to.... I recently went to a talk with Sarah Braithwaite and asked her to sign my book ;D (which she gladly did!) Interesting talk about nutrition. Definately recommend the book
