I've always fancied doing something like that! Yer on! As long as it isn't in June/early July (exam marking period), I should be ok. Last weekend in August is out, as is second weekend in May. Can't remember the other dates I can't do, but fire em at me!

Well it would be one way to get fit - I've never done that sort of distance before though - used to do X-country for the school but it wern't that far!

I might What I REALLY want to do though is run the entire length of Hadrian's wall. Slowly (I'm a bit of a plod) but just doing 10 miles a day, it'll take about 5 days. Haven't got round to it yet though!

Can we not ride it instead?! I have a gammy leg, no way it would hold for 60 miles. I suppose we could do a spnsored ride as well? Pennine way is nice so I've heard....

I'm up for the walk, sounds absolutely lovely, think of all that fresh air and gorgeous scenery! Count me in, as long as you order good weather well in advance and plan a few pub stops along the way! ;D

If Orienteering had been a school subject I would have failed dismally!! It would be a lot cheaper walking than riding it.
