Hi all
Well, the tickets are selling nicely for the Boogie in the South, still some available if anyone wants to come. We've got a mix of horsey and non-horsey people, seems it will be a good crowd.
Can anyone help with raffle/auction prizes? Or a little cheque to buy bottles of wine etc for prizes? We've got some nice prizes so far, including a commission for a painting of a pet, a consultation with a "dog listener" - but something non-animal might be good too.
Thanks for reading - KAS x

Congratulations Megnum xx Do you think you should check with Tammy that she doesn't mind before I pm her? ;D Nicola, maybe some "stuff" for humans? I want everyone to buy tickets, not just the scrubbed-up-for-the-night horsey crew.

Ah, excellent! I think we may need to do an auction and a raffle. We've got the commission for the animal portrait, an RA visit, 2 consultations with Nicola - which seem to me as if they should be auctioned. We've also got gift baskets from Nicola, and some perfume, and some wine, so I think we could probably do with a few more raffle-type prizes. I would really like to get a non-animal auction item. Like a weekend at a spa or something... anyone got any contacts?

Michael Potter the show jumper is letting us auction a lesson with him on your own horse. He is a protege of Di Lampard and is the most fabulous kind rider I have seen for a long time. Bye the way if anyone lives a distance away and is interested in this we can stable their horse for the night I hopefully have one or two more auction things in the pipeline

Flippin ace matey!! We sold 10 more tickets today, so if anyone here still needs one then get yer skates on. I notice quite a few who said they'd come on the original thread haven't booked yet... The auction prizes are so good that I will arrange some sort of proxy bidding for anyone who's interested and can't make the actual do.
