Hi Aniaapril It depends on the course.. the bitting clinic you can come to the lecture in the morning without a horse.. obviously if you wanted your horse bitted you would need to bring him/ her. The first aid course.. no horses needed! I do hope more norfolk folk come along!! Kate

I just wanted to say that although I'm not really in a position to at the moment, I would be happy to host a few demos, clinics etc at my place at some point if there is the interest. I do need to get the place a bit more organised and deal with the small business of having a baby imminently, but after that if people would like Garry to visit, or to do anything else, I'm fairly central if people have any suggestions for things they'd like to do. It's not a huge place so I don't think we could have 10 lorries turning up at the same time but I'm sure we could squeeze a few people in! Maybe we can organise a few things for 2010?

Slowly we are getting more members coming out of the woodwork in this area eh ?

It's so nice to hear from so many lovely people in the area. It's good to know IH has not passed Norfolk by!
Just a quick question to you all - I also posted in the wanted section on the DG, but thought I'd mention it here too... With my first baby due in just over a month, no liveries as yet (Katharine/Woody - if only!), and a helpful, pretty well trained but not hugely observant OH, might anyone be close enough to lend me a hand with the horses if need be? I obviously wouldn't expect help for free and it would really be a case of checking, hoof picking (no poo picking!) and possibly feeding and rug changing from time to time on a totally ad hoc basis. And welcome to play on the ground etc with the boys if you were so inclined! I have 2 here they are both very well mannered and friendly, no behavioural probs or anything.
I am hoping not to need help but you never know with these things, but I have got a couple of extra health issues and if I had to have a caesarian or stay in hospital longer or anything unexpected, things might be rather difficult without extra help as I can't imagine OH juggling work plus looking after me, babies and horses without going slightly mad! I thought it would be best to get a back up plan in place and ideally would love an IH pair of hands a phone call away if possible. I know it's a long shot as no-one seems particularly local to us here (Fransham) but I thought it was worth asking.

Hi finally got computor and passwords sorted so bit late reading all your messages. I live close to Norwich, have 3 horses of my own and a few liveries. Hope all has gone well with the baby Jess, its very hard juggling babies and neddies, I used an old fashioned pram that I could fill with toys and park it where I could see my little treasure but still ride my horse, they are 17 and 19 now.!! Its great to hear from other IH fans, we seem a bit thinly spread over this side of the country. In August I went on the 5day foundation course, it was the best thing I've ever done. Would be lovely to get together and do some horsey things, its brill to be able to discuss things with like minded people, just because I don't get rough with my horse , some people look at me as if I've come from a different planet.
