I had a brilliant evening. Well done Kelly, Rosie, Pie and Caesar. Yet another Kelly demo where I have just loved every minute and learned loads. Kelly has such amazing talent with horses. And is very funny! It was great to meet so many people and catch up with others I haven't seen for a while. I loved the ridden demo, and seeing the work done with the gorgeous equine 'guests'. Great to meet you Roo!
Sarah it was great to meet you, and shame we had so little chance to talk. I have spent the rest of the weekend reading your book! Just finished it this afternoon and I can recommend it whole heartedly. Your knowledge and empathy for horses shines through. Really excellent, informative and a superb read! I need a foal to practice with now!! I had a real 'light bulb' moment when I read your comments about horses having picture memories like photo albums. That makes so much sense to me and my time with Manny. Work to replace bad photo's with good ones, and don't be surprised if a seemingly (to me) insignificant event sparks recollection of a bad photo - just work through and replace it with a good one. I've been doing that, but suddenly made sense of what I've been doing if that makes sense!
Heather, I said hello but never got time to come and talk saddles which I very much wanted to do. Would it be OK if I give you a ring sometime? I'm looking for a saddle to fit an Arab who is impossible to fit a saddle to!!
Anyway, before I digress even further, well done again Kelly and co. I got home with my head buzzing as ever after a demo, and proud to be even a tiny part of IH! X
