Well ladies (and any gents out there lurking!)
Shall we start planning another meal and gossip in the Ock Mill?
Jenny has already suggested it's time to plan another get together so there are at least 2 of us interested - anyone else?
Pick a date - any date!

Are these private get-togethers, or can anyone in the area join in?

I'd be interested, if it's a week I don't have too much else on (get too knackered otherwise). Would be fun to meet you all and talk horses all evening!

I will try and come this time and maybe drag a few others! Do you do weekends or weekdays usually?

Thank you ever so much, Anne - that's very kind! Otherwise you can all come to my house and I'll force you to drink tea and eat yummy cake, mwa-ha-ha!
Am looking forward to a get together, just what we need in these cold and dark days. x

Well - shall we try to set a date? For those who've not been before we normally aim for a mid-week date and early evening so those who need to can do horses first and those who want to can order some scoff. We normally finish long before thowing out time as everyone has to get up early (either to work or to muck out horses)
As a starter - how about sometime the week starting 16 Feb (except the Wednesday as I can't do it!)?
Is The Ock Mill in Abingdon still a good place? I went to the Fox at Boars Hill the other day and it seemed very nice and reasonably priced (with a nice log fire) so if that is a better location......

I used to ride my mates horse to The Fox for beer and chips Either one, I don't mind! I can do the 16th, 17th or 19th (Mon, Tues, Thurs) that week

I love the idea of riding to the pub for beer and chips!
Lets see how much interest we get before deciding which pub would be best

The Fox in Boars Hill would suit me better, but for the purely selfish reason that it is nearer to me than Abingdon!
So really either would be great!

Add Any comments or requests to change the date to this thread and we can discuss the weekend before
