Welcome to the Horse Health Issues Board - its here to collate the information on the DG and from various cited resources and condense it into a quick info pack. So if your horse is diagnosed with or has a suspected case of an illness this page could offer your information and links to further research.
We hope it will be a useful addition to the DG and welcome input onto the threads. I am the only one who can start threads in this section but anyone can reply - and please do with research or knowledge about the subject. The more information we can get in here the better. Conventional and complementary information is welcome.
If you disagree with anything in the main post please PM me rather than stating on the thread. All information is researched to the best of my ability! It is intended the forum be a place of advice and is not intended to replace advice from a trained vet.
Any information given in these posts does not constitute a recommendation from Intelligent Horsemanship, Kelly Marks or any employess. We encourage you to research the illness and make up your own minds on how to proceed with treatment.
Thank you and welcome!

Can tendon or ligament strains be added? Also it would be useful to include ideas about box rest and fittening regimes after long lay off but not sure if they'd go in this section of the board or not

Blimme... you have too... well impressed excellent .. the diseases ticks carry are far worse than the ticks themselves and I think with global warming / climate change will become more of an issue so it really is excellent that you've put so much emphasis on Ticks and Diseases.. thank you

Just came across this on obesity which may be appropriate when you do Cushings, laminitis. I feel it's very relevant to general condition of horses too. www.horsesring.com/tags/weight-loss
