Just wondering if anyone has used a micklem bridle. My horse is ridden in a cross under bridle as he head shakes in a bit and it happy in the school in it but we don't have much in the line of brakes out hacking, someone suggested that one of these bridles might help. I've heard very mixed reviews regarding the effectiveness, quality and fit.
Any opinions

I've tried myler bits in the past and never had much success, largely I think because I found it difficult to find the right size. What size do you use on your welsh d?

I have a Micklem Multi bridle but have only used it bitted so far. I mainly got it so I could use it for lunging in as well as riding, but the fact I can use it bitless if the fancy takes me is also an advantage. Not had it long but I think the quality is good and it fits nicely.

Ive borrowed a 5 1/2" low port myler snaffle and my boy started lashing out at his head and throwing his head around like he does in a normal bit. Was worth a try though. I'll go have a look at a Micklem tomorrow.
