Blimey! what differences
Are there any sites etc out there to give people ideas of how much a certain breed and height should weigh?

Remember, weight tapes aren't very accurate!

Dolly always comes out at about 380kg no matter the time of year - even when she doesn't look fat at all. She's about a 3.5 on the condition scale at the moment which I'm happy with. She's a 13.2hh New Forest.

Our 11.3 weighed 370kg at the vet hospital and whilst in show condition she was not overweight according to the vets.

what's most useful with the weight tapes is to record any differences in the weight, whatever the weight might be. That'll give you pointers in case your horse is losing weight which you might not notice if you see him/her every day.
I'm pretty sure the weight tape I have is up to 200 kg 'out' for my TB/ID cross, it puts her at 525 kg when I'm pretty sure she's closer to 700!

dont forget sally that she is chucnky too, not just a light wieght, id say a bit more weight off and she will be fine, plus she is coming to live here on monday, so she will burn off a bit tearing round the farm,
