Mucking out Luke on a very windy day whilst he is eating his breakfast ( Yes, hindsight is a wonderful thing and i should have waited until i had turned him out before starting ) Put wheelbarrow outside the stable door and took in the large muckbucket. Half filled the bucket with poo and decided to use the rest of the space for the wet bedding. There was a lot of it, so the bucket was full to bursting of wet p*ss and poo. Gets to the stable door which is nearly as tall as me, and decided to balance the bucket on the door instead of putting it down and opening the door. Heaves the bucket on door top ( its now level with my face ) Then try to push the door open with the other hand and my foot, when Luke decides that its probably time to go out now. As he comes towards the open door, i use my bum to try to block him and yes ..... the whole bucket topples backwards, straight over the top of me. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. It absolutly stunk. I just stayed there numb with all this muck all over me. WHat a complete plonker. ( Looks like i will need another bath again this month now )

Sounds like a perfect time to go shopping to me, you'll clear the aisles in seconds and have the place to yourself! Now, I did wonder why there was no on queuing behind me in the Co-Op just now...

LOL LOL LOL another example of the horse being a great equalizer, not only will it "soon as throw a king as a groom" but also likes to cover its beloved carer in s**t. I love it.

I can quite picture it!! Very funny. I had an experience a while ago at a friends yard. I was helping her muck out and went to empty the wheelbarrow into the big pit she has for muck. I didn't realise it was a tipping wheelbarrow, and it caught me so much by surprise that I ended up being dragged in by it. Trying to climb out of a 4 foot deep pit full of muck while laughing your head off is a tricky and smelly job!!
