No she's sort of mud coloured. Her dam's dam was bay as well as her sire, and it seems that those with strong bay lines take forever to grey out. She'll have a couple of years at least of really pretty dapples between about 5 and 8, then she'll go flea-bitten, with pink dots (light brown) and she'll white out when she's in her mid to late teens.

Ah, glad she is happy in her new home! I met her at Sue's a few weeks ago, she's very pretty and friendly! She had me wishing I was a bit shorter....

She's an absolute doll, even tho' I say it myself! Everyone has always liked her, and she needed to go to exactly the right person, which Sam is. Someone local to me has wanted her for ages, but I wouldn't let her have her!

Send Bambu to Sam for a couple of weeks. Actually, Xana, if clean, would be the identical colour to Bambu at the moment, it's just I've never seen her clean since she was a yearling and I took her to the breed show. And even then, I realised she had mud in her mane (in July!) when we were in the ring. That's probably why she only came second.

they reckon it's Sky TV for horses - they mind works like "if it moves, kill it, if it doesn't, eat it and if you can't reach it, watch it until you *can* kill it or eat it...... " Ah. Now I know which line of ancestors JJ got all that from ;D

Finn, you already know that Lusos and As are spiritual twins..... It's just big people can ride Lusos.
