I've had Ruby just over a month and when she first came here she was so unbalanced and stiff in the school she couldn't trot and was constantly trying to canter. I took her completely out of the school, we've mostly just been hacking to build her fitness levels. Well....today we went in the school and granted we did all this with no contact on the reins, the corners were rubbish and the tempo wasn't perfect all the time but we managed to trot several circuits, including some trotting poles, without trying to canter ;D
It may seem stupid to most and I know it's only a tiny baby step but it's a step in the right direction and I'm super proud of my fat tall pone ;D
