Oh and Finn, Yes, I reckon I am going to have to grow an EE norty tree pretty sharpish, so I can scarper up it, having upset one or two pro PNH members! - not for the first time, I might add. Heather

good thing about Parelli is that this page now has 6 pages long and the other thread Bad things is only 4 pages long...
good thing about Parelli is that I can work out someone's 'way' with their horse without even meeting them or seeing them with their horse as soon as they mention that that have 'done Parelli'...
sort of like a brand name that tells me how far off the mark the owner usually is and probably how screwed up the horse will be without ever needing to see the horse.
good thing is that you can also tell if they've said they've 'done Parelli' that you can be sure they're probably riding in a rope halter for life and have no intention of changing it now thankyouverymuch and all bits are bad and everyone else is wrong... fail to see the bigger picture and end up throwing the baby out with the bathwater...
which saves me time wasted even talking to them in the first place.

NOOOOoooooooo, I'm scared of heights.
sigh.
oh ok then.
but, tbh the Prelly rope I have had since 7.5yrs now IS still going strong, cheapest in the long run than any other rope/leads I've had. *can I come down now SF?*

Not so bad paying dear for something if it is really good quality and long lasting- like my expensive German riding things- only clothes I ever pay good money for, but they outlast the cheaper alternatives 5-1, and still look good years later.

I must admit that I groan internally when anyone tells me that they have done Parelli with their horse (whoops this is the good thread) and groaning is so good for my soul.

I think you'd better bar me from this thread to. I'd love to be able to come up with something good about Parelli, but......... Me too - after all, why pay £24.95 for a carrot stick when practically EVERYONE can find a 4ft length of Class C pipe lying around the yard!
