I have enjoyed reading both threads, very informative. Its good to hear the positive things about Parelli, without the bickering. I tend to be wary of the whole marketing thing, but like to pick up things from articles and demos if I think they will be good training tools. I like the philosophy, Butterfly, about inner strength and carrots..... I have a suspicion it could be applied to people too it works on many levels!!

I like that it's given me a whole new approach to non-riding activities; we do groundplay now not just groundwork. As a result, if I don't feel like riding then there's lots of different things I can choose to do with my horse other than just lunging, freeschooling or long reining, and we both seem to really enjoy the experience rather than just tolerating it as a necessary evil.

I think you and arabmania should toddle back off to the bad things thread now,you have been very restrained on this thread,so much so you are in danger of falling out of the tree H... Why dont you go and vent on the other thread??? You know you want to...

I think SarahW's thread summed up my own concerns rather well, Sarah. I am trying to keep out of trouble on my own forum, with difficulty!!

On no they can read the rest of the site, Sarah, but not the EE members only forum, nor the 'Ask Heather, or Ask Becky', as we feel, rightly, that those who have paid deserve extras for their money!
